Hacker pleads guilty in performing a cyberattack on Sony Pictures Entertainment networks. He was sentenced to one year in prison, home arrest and performing 1,000 hours of community service after his release from prison. The attack cost Sony Corporation $ 600 000 in damage.
25-year-old LulzSec member Cody Kretsinger, using a nickname «Recursion» on the web, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer. He also told he stole confidential information from the Sony Pictures servers and provided it to other LulzSec members.
Kretsinger pleaded guilty a month later after the FBI detained Anonymous leader Hector Xavier, who agreed to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
