The agents of the Bosnian Federal Police’s cybercrime unit arrested a Bosnian hacker, known by the initials E.S., after they discovered he stored and distributed a great deal of child porn pictures and videos.
The representatives of the Federal Police issued a press release, which stated that the hacker stored more than 1,5 million of porn images and 10,000 videos featuring sexual child abuse on his computer and external hard drives, which were confiscated after the police raid on his house.
The apprehended person obtained the great amount of pornographic material from the Internet and from some foreign nationals. The pictures and videos were used for hacker’s personal use and for distribution.
The suspect allegedly used “highly sophisticated computer programs” to get an access to e-mail accounts of a certain number of still unidentified Americans that were the source of pornographic material for the hacker.
In addition hacker the suspect also collected the data to blackmail the owners of this accounts. They were giving him money in exchange he didn’t notify the U.S. law enforcement about their illegal activity. This fraud scheme allowed him to earn $3,000.
The hacked is accused of distribution of child porn and unauthorized access to protected systems and online electronic databases.
