A sophisticated scheme, in which the attackers used casino's own security systems against it, allowed the fraudsters to "earn" $ 33 million in poker games with high stakes. Experts state that hackers managed to gain access to the video cameras, used them to peep into other players’ cards and took advantage of that information.
While hackers were peeping into cards, one of them took part in poker game.
It is known that the hacker participated in poker games only with high stakes and which were held in a private suite. His accomplice remotely monitored the progress of the game and informed him of the opponent's cards through a wireless connection.
Unfortunately, police didn’t arrest the fraudsters because they all left the country after their scheme was uncovered.
