Hacker stole personal correspondence of the head of the U.S. National Intelligence Council

The hacker “Guccifer” hacked an e-mail account of the head of the U.S. National Intelligence Council Christopher Kojm. The screenshots from Kojm’s account were forwarded to The Smoking Gun. According to them, the attacker gained unauthorized access to the politician’s account at msn.com.

57-year-old Koym is the chairman of department, whose staff provides strategic assessments on future threats and trends to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. It has turned out that stole Kojm’s personal correspondence and banking details. The attacker did not manage to get access to any secret information.

In a letter that accompanied the Kojm’s account screenshots, Guccifer called U.S. President Barack Obama a "the black angel" and scoffed at the U.S. Secret Service, which is trying arrest the hacker.

Kojm is not the first politician who became the victim of Guccifer. Earlier, the attacker hacked Joshua Gotbaum emails. He is the director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, guarantees the pension benefits of more than 40 million Americans.
