Antisec leak data on 12 million Apple clients

Antisec leak data on 12 million Apple clients

Anonymous affiliated hackers group AntiSec claims it has managed to steal data o more than 12 million Apple clients. As a proof they posted in Pastebin 1 million Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), that can be used to identify an Apple device.

The cybercrooks claim they managed to get hold of names, phone numbers, addresses and other valuable data.

The information was leaked from a compromised computer of an FBI agent back in March 2012. According to the hackers at that time a Dell Vostro notebook that belonged to Supervisor Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl from FBI Regional Cyber Action Team and New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team was compromised via exploitation of a Java vulnerability. The hackers say that the feds must be using the data in order to track users of iGadgets.

The leaked document contains NCFTA abbreviation that stands for National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance which may also have access to the secret database of Apple What do you know, this situation gets pretty much nasty if the hackers had not breached an FBI computer no one would even know that such a database exists outside Cupertino Now we know that Apple may be giving away info on its users to multiple governmental organizations.
