Multiple vulnerabilities in Flash Player, Apache and Foxit Reader found and patched

Adobe has fixed 6 vulnerabilities in its Flash Player. Most of the security flaws allowed a remote attacker to cause memory corruption or integer overflaw and compromise targeted system. One of the fixed vulnerabilities allows criminals to gather information about users online.

The patches cover Adobe Flash Player for Windows, Macintosh and Linux and Android and also Adobe AIR for Windows and Macintosh.

The Adobe Flash Player patch for Windows bears the highest priority and vendor recommends IT administrators to deploy the updates within the nearest 72 hours.

Besides Adobe another developer Apache Software Foundation has issued a handful of patches for its web server. Errors in mod_proxy_ajp and mod_proxy_http modules allowed hackers to disclose personal information of users. Another flaw existed while processing filenames in some locations and allowed to conduct an XSS attack.

We also have a Foxit Reader vulnerability patch that allowed to execute an arbitrary code using a specially crafted PDF file.

ThatТs all for now folks. Stay tuned to http://Naked-Security.com and we will have more security news for you!
